2006 Leadership Candidates
Numerological Profile for
Ken Dryden

Ken Dryden, PC, MP, BA, LL.B (born: August 8, 1947) in Hamilton, Ontario. Everyone likes Ken Dryden, including me. This guy is right up there with Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Bobby Orr, Frank Mahovlich and Rockey Richard. He should have started his own donut franchise or tire store. His name makes him a specialist (note: 1/9/1 total) and his 8 / 8 / 3 = 1 birthpath makes him that much more of a specialist.

Ken played hockey while pursuing his BA at Cornell University. He graduated in 1969, his 6 Cycle year. Every year Ken played his team won the ECAC championship and in 1967 he won the NCAA hockey championship.

Traded to Montreal Canadians in 8 Cycle Year

In 1971 Ken Dryden was traded from the Boston Bruins to the Montreal Canadians. This was Ken’s 8 Cycle year, meaning he was like the fruit from the tree, a harvest time-block. The Montreal Canadians just kept winning and Ken Dryden just kept getting better. In 1983 Ken was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He was in his 2 cycle year. On September 20, 2006, the Montreal Canadians announced his jersey number would be retired during the 2006-07 season. Ken was in his 7 Cycle year.

2004 Election Victory Proves Challenging

In the June 28, 2004 federal election, Ken Dryden ran for the first time. This was his 5 Cycle year, his 6/4 month and 7/4 day. In many ways not good. As energized as the 5 Cycle is, unfavorable June and the challenges of the 28th, put Ken on a team that he had not been used to playing on. He is now in a minority government and his friend Paul Martin appoints him to a “words only” Cabinet post. All June 2004 related commitments prove challenging. Meaning that what commitments you take on during June of your 5 Cycle year can and will hold you down for a long time. Unlike super clever David Emmerson, Ken wasn’t going to get traded in this big league.

7 Cycle Win For Dryden

Ken walked slowly through to January 2006 and easily got elected again on the 23rd. He was in his 7 Cycle year, 1/8 month and in a 6/7 day. An easy victory for 7 Cycle Ken. But very challenging January of a 1 Cycle year, Paul Martin loses his minority and is replaced by positive 7 Cycle year, Stephen Harper’s minority and Ken is now a long way from making important decisions. On April 28, 2006, Ken confirms rumors and announces his candidacy as party leader. Ken is in a 7 Cycle year, 4/2 month and 5/9 day. Sorry Ken, but that was neither the month or the day to be making big, career enhancing announcements.
After July 9th, life got much better for Ken and it will seem much better in October and November. He looks good at the convention and he will deliver a block of votes to one of the star candidates and get a pat on the head and a guarantee of a cabinet post. There will be lots of deals made beforehand and Ken is in an excellent “deal-making” time block just before the late November convention (nore: 7 Cycle, 2/9 month).
