2006 Leadership Candidates
Numerological Profile for Stephane Dion

Stephane Dion, PC, MP, BA, MA, Ph.D (d.of b. September 28, 1955)

The name Stephane Dion is an 8/5/4 total destiny name and his birthday creates a 9 / 1 / 2 = 3 Birthpath. Meaning that here is a guy with more determination, focus, and diligence than actual intelligence. Nice guy, someone you could take with you to a respectful event, but he is just not leadership material. Remember, Dr. Dion is intelligent like an academic but he is not politically “street smart” as was his mentor, Jean Chretien or his mentor P.E. Trudeau.

March 1996 By-Election Victory

Stephane first took office in a by-election on March 25, 1996. His 9 Cycle year, 5/5 month and 5/1 cycle day gave this academic and university professor a powerful step up in the world. In January of that same year he was made a member of the Queen’s Privy Council in his 3/3 Cycle month of his 9 Cycle year. Just a fantastic time to “luck-in” to something that will get you a lot of mileage in life and numerous special dinner invitations. But not a time to “lock-in” long term plans.

1 Cycle Victory Enhances Stephane’s Career

So on election day on June 02, 1997, Stephan was in his 1 Cycle year, 9/1 month and 2/2 day. A good time to take a big step up in the world. A key seeding time but unfortunately not a time to follow through on matters started in your 9 Cycle year (note: by-election in 1996). It will always become a weight on Stephan. But this next 3 years proved very valuable for Stephane while under his political comrade - Jean Chretien.

4 Cycle Victory Proves Costly

In the national election of November 27, 2000 Stephane Dion was re-elected but now in his very testing, late 4 Cycle year, 8/3 month, and 8/7 cycle day. It is not a time to re-new contracts, seek a bigger position in life or take on a more debt. Stephane then worked very hard on behalf of Jean Chretien and the Prime Minister’s office on numerous Quebec related issues. Unfortunately he failed to establish the recognition or the success he rightly deserved. All late 4 Cycle year and early 5 Cycle year related problems stuck with him.

Paul Martin Drops Stephane

Stephan got re-elected on June 28, 2004 with Paul Martin as leader (note: Martin in a good 7 Cycle year but terrible 6/4 month). Stephen was immediately dropped from minority government cabinet by Paul Martin because of his strong association with Jean Chretien. Stephane was in a 7/6 cycle month of an 8 Cycle year and 8/6 day on this successful, 2004 election day. But Paul Martin (d.of b. Aug. 28, 1938) was in his testing 6/4 month of his 7 Cycle year and didn’t want Chretien loyalist such as Dion around him. Bad move Paul!

Stephane Called Back By Martin

Stephane humbly steps back only to be quickly called back by a confused Prime Minister to do some heavy thinking. Stephane does very well and scores lots of “insider” points with the party. So on July 20th, 2004 Stephane is brought back into cabinet as Minister of Environment. Stephane was in an 8 Cycle year, 8/7 month and a 1/9 day when he was brought back. It all worked out well.

Like Bob Rae – Stephane makes 1 Cycle Leadership Announcement

He announced his leadership candidacy on April 7, 2006, the day of the official beginning of the race and the same day announcement by 8 Cycle year Michael Ignatieff. On April 7, Stephane was in a super 7/8 month of a 1 cycle year and on a 5/3 day. This is a time to be tidying up loose ends from the past and not making a big career announcement. Sell something and don’t re-invest until July.

Late 1 Cycle Year Enhance Stephane’s Career

Canada is in an 8 Cycle year in 2006, just like Mr. Ignatief. So when it comes to voting day at the convention, Stephane will be strong, dignified, intelligent and believable. But Liberal party delegates will just want a little more than all that. They will want a “deal maker”, someone that knows the difference between theory and the practical rules of operation. Stephan does well at the convention and proves important in deciding who wins. His late November and early December campaign is out of touch with 8 Cycle year Canadians. Stephane is full of ideas and Canadians want solutions. Like Gerard Kennedy, Stephan doesn’t think he needs to make deals, so his clever campaign manager will be doing it for him.
